Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to do to apply for the webinar series?
Just complete the registration form and you’re in! There are no minimum requirements to participate.
How many internships are available?
There are 8 internship opportunities available across the business.
What if I’m in a different country or time zone. Can I still take part?
Yes, you can still take part in the webinar series as the course content will available for participants to catch up on demand if they cannot zoom in live. We will only be able to consider your internship application, however, if you are able to complete the internship in person and have the relevant working rights.
I'm not looking for an internship, can I still attend the webinars?
Absolutely! Open House is open to everyone, and you can still attend and gain amazing insight into the inner workings of an ad agency.
Is there an age limit?
Technically yes, you need to be over 18, but aside from that, not at all.
Is there any cost involved?
No, Open House is completely free.
We’ve realised that the advertising industry is pretty closed to those outside of it, so we want as many people as possible to find out what it’s about. That’s why we’ve made all 8 sessions free for anyone to access.
How do I apply for the internship?
During the webinar series, we will set a real client brief. To apply for the internship, you will need to respond to the brief using what you have learnt throughout the course. Our judges will review submissions and select the best responses to interview for a chance to join the internship.
When will the internship programme run?
The internship program will start 13th January 2025, and will run for 8 weeks.
What if I change my mind and want to apply for the internship?
No problem! Just get in touch with our Open House team as soon as possible to let them know.
You’re welcome to still apply as long as it’s before the final submission deadline and you have attended (or will attend) two mentor sessions.
Do I need any qualifications?
Absolutely not. We’re looking for original thinkers, and often those with life experience are the most original thinkers of all.
Can participants work together to answer the client brief?
No. This task is for you alone to test your learnings over the whole course.
What if I can’t attend the onsite internship due to other commitments?
You can still take part in the Open House program, even if you can’t apply for the internship. It’s a great way to get to know the ins and outs of our industry, and we will continue to share future job opportunities.
How do I access the webinars?
We will send out a Zoom link each week to join live, or if you aren't able to make it then we'll also share the recordings after each session to catch up.
If I’m not able to participate in the internship, will I still be considered for a future role at M&C Saatchi Group?
Of course! All Open House alumni will have the opportunity to apply for future roles.
I’m not interested in a role at M&C Saatchi Group, can I still take part in the training for my own progression?
Totally, the course content is open to all. The more the merrier!
Can I invite a friend along to one of the sessions?
The programme content will only be available to those who have registered for Open House. We would prefer you not to share content and webinar links, but by all means invite a friend to watch with you.
